Supporting Ukraine
Brockenhurst WI continue to see how we can support Ukraine. Our boxes of toiletries are being well received by Ukraine refugees who are staying in Brockenhurst and we have had so lovely feedback and grateful thanks for these, so thank you all for your support and donations. August Outing
Our 2022 WI Summer Outing is at Furzey Gardens on Monday August 8th. We will meet at Furzey Gardens at 5.30pm, have a talk from one of their gardeners at 6pm, followed by tea/coffee and cake. Our May walk and meet-up will be on Wednesday 18th May at 10am. We will start at Beechern Wood car park off the Rhinefield Road in Brockenhurst We will walk for one to two mile miles and will walk at gentle pace to suit all. Supporting Ukraine Refugees
Brockenhurst WI wanted to do something to support Ukraine refugees that will be staying in Brockenhurst, so we have been collecting toiletries at our meetings and making up shoe boxes of products. Our members have been very generous. We have also been given donations of toothpaste and tooth brushes from Oak Lodge Dental Practice, so thanks to Alex and Eleanor for these too. Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta 2022
Every year, Brockenhurst WI serves refreshments at the Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta. Much planning and preparation goes into this.
