We are having a busy August. Members have enjoyed a croquet evening, an event at Foxlease with other local WI clubs. We entered the New Forest Show. Beautifully made items taking hours to sew, knit, macrame, bake, make fruit marmalade, photograph, paint flower arrange and make a 1920’s larder with contents and a model allotment we managed to have several third prizes. Our February meeting saw Brockenhurst WI celebrating our 104th Birthday with 35 members and 7 guests in attendance. We had an action packed evening! On Saturday 9th October, Brockenhurst WI provided refreshments at a World Textile Day in the Village Hall. On arrival at the hall, we were met by a sea of colour literally everywhere from stands, table tops and coat racks.
