Our February meeting saw Brockenhurst WI celebrating our 104th Birthday with 35 members and 7 guests in attendance. We had an action packed evening! Easter Renewal Project
Brockenhurst WI members took part in a lockdown craft project with the theme of Renewal. The group’s craft ladies decided to get busy and individually produce something bright and cheerful leading everyone towards Spring and Easter. Supporting Ukraine
Brockenhurst WI continue to see how we can support Ukraine. Our boxes of toiletries are being well received by Ukraine refugees who are staying in Brockenhurst and we have had so lovely feedback and grateful thanks for these, so thank you all for your support and donations. August Outing
Our 2022 WI Summer Outing is at Furzey Gardens on Monday August 8th. We will meet at Furzey Gardens at 5.30pm, have a talk from one of their gardeners at 6pm, followed by tea/coffee and cake. Our May walk and meet-up will be on Wednesday 18th May at 10am. Supporting Ukraine Refugees
Brockenhurst WI wanted to do something to support Ukraine refugees that will be staying in Brockenhurst, so we have been collecting toiletries at our meetings and making up shoe boxes of products. Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta 2022
Every year, Brockenhurst WI serves refreshments at the Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta. Much planning and preparation goes into this. Janette is our star planner and co-ordinates the preparation and planning as well as buying the food for the sandwiches etc. Members volunteer to make cakes and also to give their time during the event to make sandwiches, serve tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches.
