On Saturday of the Jubilee weekend, Brockenhurst WI teamed up with the Mother’s Union to provide refreshments at the Platinum Jubilee celebrations at the Brockenhurst Football club.

An array of beautiful cakes were made for the occasion by our talented bakers and were very popular.

Despite an unfavourable weather forecast, the rain stayed away and people enjoyed the entertainment and stalls at this event.

Our WI member Esther was performing with Rock Choir.

We had a collection box on the stall and had biscuits for a donation for New Forest for Ukraine and this raised £14.25

Brockenhurst WI’s share of the proceeds are going to be donated to New Forest Homes for Ukraine. This will go towards buying textbooks to support English lessons for Ukrainian refugees.
