Welcome to our September activities. Our monthly meeting is on Monday 14th September and our speaker is from the RNLI.
Our Competition of the month September is a photo from the poppy factory visit, or a photo of a poppy.
September is the judging month of our annual Growing Competition – Please bring your Sunflower heads grown for this year’s competition. All entries must be the actual flowers grown by you and brought in on the night, please. No photo entries will be accepted.
On Wednesday 16th September, Rita will be hosting Bandage Making for Ukraine 10am-12 noon at Rita’s house. Please contact us for more details and location.

On Wednesday 23rd September a man who has driven a vehicle all the way from this area to Ukraine and on further all the way to the area where our donation of bandages are needed is coming to see us. He wishes to thank us on behalf of the recipients, to take photos of us doing the bandage making and take the bandages and photos with him on the next trip. So, Rita is inviting all the ladies who are part of the bandage makers, or those who have done it in the past, and the ladies who knit for Ukraine to come to her house , at 7 Chestnut Road by 10.30 am, he will arrive around 10.40am but won’t be there for more than an hour and a half. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided so if you intend to come, please let Rita know. It will be nice to be thanked for over 4 years of work!
On Thursday 17th September there is the rescheduled Hampshire WI Environment Day in Crow from 09.30-2pm. Click here for more information. Along with the speakers, there will be a discussion on how you would like our climate change agenda and action to be taken forward.

On Friday 25th September at 2pm there is a Group Skittles Event. At Conservative Club in New Milton. One team per WI of 6 players.
