Our monthly meeting is on Monday 13th July 13th.This evening will be a Craft evening. Please bring scissors -both fabric and paper scissors and your specs if you need them for close work. More about what we are doing for 2 special events will be revealed on Monday!

The ‘Competition of the Month’ is ‘an unusual/interesting biscuit tin’, so don’t forget to bring that too. As usual, it is held in The Forest Hall (downstairs) at t Brockenhurst Village Hall. Arrival is from 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Please contact us for more details or if you would like to come as a guest/visitor.

We will have our customary raffle at Monday’s meeting nd this will be the last chance to buy NFWI Raffle Tickets, so don’t forget your purse.

Monday’s meeting will be the last chance for members and guests to sign up for our outing on 10th August to the Poppy  Factory. The costs to Brockenhurst WI members is £32.50 and the cost to guests is £39 This covers the coach from Brockenhurst, entrance fee and tea and cake. Please contact us asap before next week as we will be putting the offer out to other WIs if there are still spaces left.

This month is the New Forest Show, held at New Park Showground from Tuesday 28th until Thursday 30th July. Earlybird tickets are available until 12th July here.

If you have signed up to enter any categories for the New Forest Show, your items need to be taken to the WI Tent between 9am and 10.30am on Monday 27th July. Make sure you have read the schedule and you will need to attach a label to each entry. Evelyn will be giving out labels to those who have entered at Monday’s WI meeting. If you aren’t attending Monday’s meeting, the please contact us to arrange collection yours.

If you would like your entries to be taken to the Showgrond for you, Christine has offered to do this. Items must be delivered to Christine’s house on Sunday 26th July, then Christine and team will deliver them. Please tell Christine that you would like her to take your entries so that she knows to expect you on Sunday 26th July. Please contact us for Christine’s address.

Bandage making for Ukraine is now held on the first and third Wednesday of the month from 10-12 at Rita’s house. Please contact us for Rita’s address. The next session is on Wednesday 15th July.

The Craft Group have their final meeting for the month on Friday 17th July where they will be finalising their New Forest Show entry. Please contact us for more details and location.
