New Forest Show 2022

After a two year gap, this week saw the return of the New Forest Show. The WI Schedule was ‘Step back in Time’ (carried over from 2020). The entry classes were: 1. ‘Sweets for my Sweet’ Peppermint Creams. Six sweets (half dipped in chocolate optional) displayed in a box with clear lid/clingfilm no larger than 6″ x 4″ (15 x 10cm). Brockenhurst Group Afternoon Tea

On Wednesday afternoon, 9 members of Brockenhurst WI joined ladies from Barton Bees, New Milton Sands and Sway WI at Foxlease for an event organised by Barton Bees at Foxlease. Bandage Making 20th July

Six members from Brockenhurst WI gathered to make more bandages for Ukraine. New Forest for Ukraine have been gifted some sheets, so we could get going making Triangular bandages which are much needed and go in the trauma packs. We managed to make around 40 Triangular bandages during this session. Rolled bandages and Tourniquet ties were also made.
