February Lunch Club
Twelve ladies from Brockenhurst WI met today for lunch. This was organised by Christine K. We were welcomed by the staff at The Filly Inn. The food was excellent however the pavlova dessert was to die for! A huge plate of strawberry flavoured meringue filled with ice cream and cream with a strawberry sauce. Visit to Testwood Lakes Nature Reserve
On 27th January 12 Brockenhurst WI members and 5 of their partners enjoyed a morning visit to Testwood Lakes Nature Reserve, which is managed by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. Our New Year activities included our January meeting and the speaker Bob Sinfield who talked about “The Gag Trade – Misadventures is TV and Comedy”. It was funny and entertaining! Fourteen ladies met for our WI ladies lunch at the Forest Park Hotel in Brockenhurst today. We had pre ordered from the January menu.
