At our September meeting, we had a speaker from the RNLI. We also had our competition of the month and our annual Growing Competition. You can read more about it here.

Our Lunch Club took place on Thursday 17th September . Seven members met at The Hare and Hounds in Sway. The food was delicious, the plates were clean, and everyone was happy. All went home, full up and content.

The Craft Group met and planned activities up until Christmas. The dates of future sessions are on the diary dates page here.

The knitting Group have been busy knitting baby blankets and baby hats to give to New Forest for Ukraine which is a charity that gives Aid to war torn Ukraine. In October the knitting group will be knitting baby cardigans for Ukraine. In early November they are hoping to hand over at NFFU hub all knitwear the knitting group has made (booties, baby beanie hats, baby blankets and baby cardigans). Suzanne would like to make a plea if there are any members that are knitters but not in the knitting group if they would like to knit some items for Ukraine in which she be happy to give members simple knitting patterns. The Darts Team has continued to practise on Thursday morning at The Foresters Arms.

Rita continued to lead bandage making for Ukraine sessions and has a team working in their own home too.

Wednesday 23rd September saw the rescheduled Croquet Evening at Lymington Croquet Club. Everyone enjoyed the evening and it was very competitive, but fun game. The final was between Jeanette & Sue against Tricia and Britta.

Tricia and Britta were the overall winners by 2 hoops to 1 in the final.
