Our December meeting was a Christmas party for our members. 

We had a show and tell from Kim and her quilters and those who recently did her patchwork elephant course.

Kim also told members about the Quilting Course she is going to be running in January. For more details click here.

Janice collected knitted hats, scarfs and socks for Ukraine.

We were entertained by Sway Handbell Ringers.  The Ringers consisted of ten women and one man who rang bells with carols.

The conductor got someone up from each table to play handbells. Then she gave other members another instrument  to accompany her.  We ended with Jingle Bells. 

We had a raffle run by Maureen and April with the prizes of Christmas decorations made by our Craft Group and other members. This raised money for the New Forest Basics Band to help local families in need.

Members were treated to mince pies and mulled wine/fruit punch. Issy had prepared a quiz and members completed the quiz whilst enjoying the refreshments.

It was a fun happy evening with total participation. Thank you everyone for making it a great evening.
