At our April meeting Brockenhurst WI members and guests had an informative I.T. talk from Graham Thompson from Click and Connect New Forest.

Graham showed us the great resources that Brockenhurst WI members can access, including this website, our Facebook page, our learning platform VIA and MY WI members portal.

Graham talked us through how to keep safe online, how to spot scams and how to use create safe passwords, amongst other useful information.

Julie thanked everyone for entering the Group Show and our great success. The cups we won were on display as well as the certificates and a selection of entries.

The ‘Competitions of the Month’ was ‘3 spring flowers in a vase’ and the winner was Issy. Donations from this go to ACWW.

There were lots of sign up sheets and information for future activities events, including lunch, litter pick, knitting group, skittles, croquet and our annual outing. We also had our customary raffle. 

Seeds for our annual ‘Growing Competition’ were also given out.

Rita asked for help with Bandage making for Ukraine. Sessions are run every Wednesday morning, or tasks can be carried out in our own homes.

Julie ended the meeting by thanking Janice for running the reception desk, Maureen & April for organising the Raffle, Sue & Karen Mc for serving refreshments, Jayne for table flowers and the committee for all their help.
