Our next meeting is Monday 10th July 2023 Monthly Meeting with speaker Joanna Foat: “The Lumberjills – Britain’s Forgotten Army”. Brockenhurst Village Hall arrival from 7pm for a 7.30pm start. This was a packed evening with guests including Jude Vaughan, the National President of New Zealand Federation of Women’s Institutes. Our April activities started with our April meeting with a talk by Claire Sherwood from The New Forest Park Authority. A report can be read here. Rita has continued to head up bandage making for Ukraine and the team are doing sterling working making and rolled bandages which will be sent to Ukraine. Jane dressed in a period costume and spoke the part of Violet.
