This month Brockenhurst WI celebrated 105 years with a lovely social evening which was well attended. Members were treated by the craft group to a variety of demonstrations and activities. Karen showed us some great floral displays. There were 16 members celebrating theirs Birthdays this month who all received a a lovely polyanthus. We had our customary raffle. Eight members met for a very enjoyable and productive craft group meeting. We made several different Christmas cards, many from recycled items. Janette showed us a simple, but effective technique of a stitched tree with beads. Ann demonstrated making a box, also from old Christmas cards, and some members produced pretty boxes with motifs on the lids.
