December Craft Group

Eight members met for a very enjoyable and productive craft group meeting. We made several different Christmas cards, many from recycled items. Janette showed us a simple, but effective technique of a stitched tree with beads. Ann demonstrated making a box, also from old Christmas cards, and some members produced pretty boxes with motifs on the lids. November has one again been a busy month for Brockenhurst WI. Our craft group and members have worked hard making Christmas decorations for our Christmas Stall at the Brockenhust Christmas Fun Evening. Members from Brockenhurst WI have continued to work hard making bandages for Ukraine. Carole hosted the first session of the month and triangular bandages were prioritised as these are needed for trauma packs. The second session was held at Julie’s house. Patchwork Elephant Craft Workshop

Our member Kim offered to teach members of Brockenhurst WI Craft Group how to make a Patchwork Elephant in aid of The Children’s Society.
