Our December meeting took the format of a Christmas Party.

Members brought food for an American supper and there was a great spread.

Mulled wine and mulled fruit punch were also served.

We had a raffle organised by Maureen and run by April, with some great prizes with the proceeds going to a local women’s refuge.

Issy and Karen provided us with quizzes for each table to do and great fun was had doing these.

We also had a collection of toiletries for the refuge too and we thank our members for their generosity.

The community quilt that we contributed to was on display so that we could all see it. It looked great!

We finished the evening with a sing-along with the help of Jackie.

To end the evening, Evelyn wished everyone a Happy Christmas.

Our next meeting will be on Monday 8th January 2024  with speaker Dr Hugh Bethall who will be talking about “Exercise, Fitness & Health” . This will be held at Brockenhurst Village Hall – arrival from 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
