Our craft groups has continued to be busy! The Easter Egg was completed and is now on display outside St Saviours Church. Our egg received a card of commendation.

This week also saw a group having a lesson in marmalade making. We were taught the principles and pitfalls and all learnt a lot.

The Quilting Group is making good progress. Squares have now been sown together and we learnt how to make a ‘quilt sandwich’ – layers of the squares, batting and backing material. We were also taught how to sew it all together and to embellish it.

The next craft group session is on Friday 22nd April at Carole’s house.
