Every Shrove Tuesday Brockenhurst Parish Council put on a Pancake Race. Brookley Road is closed to cars for the occasion.

There are races for Pre-School children right up to teenagers.

There are also adult races and Brockenhurst WI took part in one of the team relay races.

Four ladies from Brockenhurst WI braved the rain to take part- Zena, Janice, Anne and Jayne.

Brockenhurst WI Team cam in third place and received a medal!

The last race of the day was between Tesco staff, Welcome Store staff and Balmer lawn Hotel and this was a very competitive race!

Despite the race, it was a flippin’ good race!
