The 73rd Brockenhurst Group Show
This weekend saw the 73rd Brockenhurst Group Show where members of the Brockenhurst Group comprising of Brockenhurst WI, Sway WI, Barton Bees WI and New Milton Sands WI competed. The hall was a riot of spring colours and was a delight to see. We have another busy month ahead with activities to suit all. Monthly Meeting Monday 13th March This month we have the return of speaker Jane Glennie. This month our members have been busy doing various craft activities. The Craft group met at Ann H and worked on various projects. Kim hosted Quilting sessions for both the beginners and intermediate groups. Gina hosted a sewing workshop and shared her skills and talents with the group. Our February Birthday Meeting
This month Brockenhurst WI celebrated 105 years with a lovely social evening which was well attended. Members were treated by the craft group to a variety of demonstrations and activities. Karen showed us some great floral displays. There were 16 members celebrating theirs Birthdays this month who all received a a lovely polyanthus. We had our customary raffle.
