New Forest Show July 2023
A record number of Brockenhurst WI members entered categories in this years New Forest Show with the theme of celebration. We had 14 members step up to Kim’s challenge of entering the show and had entries in 11 of the 13 classes. Croquet at Lymington Thursday 13th July
On Thursday evening, sixteen members met at Woodside Gardens with four patient helpers from Lymington Croquet Club for a very enjoyable couple of hours. The stormy-looking clouds stayed far enough away for us to remain dry, although some of us tried to blame the wind for our dodgy shots! Our next meeting is Monday 10th July 2023 Monthly Meeting with speaker Joanna Foat: “The Lumberjills – Britain’s Forgotten Army”. Brockenhurst Village Hall arrival from 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Group Quiz Teams
Sway WI hosted the WI Group Quiz with 7 teams taking part. There were 8 rounds of questions from General knowledge, Music, Sporting Nicknames, Nicknames, History, Words, The Natural World, Round Britain and The Last Round.
