After a busy November, we are now preparing and looking forward to our Christmas activities.
We start on Friday 5th December with the Brockenhurst Christmas Fun Evening which runs from 6-8pm in Brookley Road.
A big thank you to those of you who have offered to help on our stall at this event. We are doing our infamous ‘Human Fruit Machine’ and selling Christmas Tree decorations, plus selling items that members have made/donated. Our new gazebo has arrived, so it will be great to have this to use (especially with the current weather forecast!)

Then on Monday 8th December, we have our December meeting. This will be held in the main downstairs hall at Brockenhurst Village Hall to give us more room. Arrival from 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.
The committee are very grateful to Jayne who has put a lot of time and effort into organising a taste testing evening of Christmas Foods. There will also be mulled wine and a non-alcoholic fruit cup. Please make sure that you have room for tasting goodies!
The “Competition of the Month’’ is a Christmas Table Decoration and we look forward to seeing all your creations. Please also bring some silver coins for voting for your favourite.
There will also be bumper Christmas raffle, so don’t forget money for raffle tickets.
On Tuesday 8th December is the Group Carol Service at Ashley Baptist Church at 2pm. If you have asked for a lift or offered to give lifts, Liz will be in touch in due course.
Rose has organised a walk on Tuesday 16th December, starting from Whitefield Moor car park at 10.30am. There will be a sign-up sheet at Monday’s meeting or contact us for more details.
Rita is continuing with bandage making for Ukraine on Wednesday mornings throughout December, including on 24th December. Please contact us for more details and location.

There isn’t a Lunch Club meeting in December, but Christine has organised a special 2 course lunch at Barton Golf Club on Wednesday 21st January for 12 noon. The cost is £27 for two courses, coffee, mints and gratuity. There will be a sign-up sheet at Monday’s meeting or contact me for more details or to sign up.
The Darts team continue to practice on Thursdays at 11am at the Foresters Arms, Brookley Road, Brockenhurst for the first two Thursdays in December, . All welcome to join in. Please contact us for more details.

If whilst at Brockenhurst Village hall you forget to input your car registration number and get a fine, here is a link to page on their website then click on ‘Forgot to validate your parking’ and fill in the form.
Please be aware that Hampshire WI are making changes to theirs and our email systems from 8th December and we may not be able to access our emails for a couple of weeks.
We hope to see you at one of our Christmas activities, but if we don’t see you, we wish you peace and joy this Christmas and we look forward to seeing you in 2026.
