Summer seems to be a distant memory, and autumn feels like it is well and truly got its feet under the table!
Looking back as a WI, we had a successful summer at the New Forest Show and a very enjoyable outing to Highclere Castle. Thanks go to Karen for organising it.

Lots of planning has been taking place for forthcoming activities, with more in the pipeline!
Our Craft Group has its first meeting of the month on Friday 5th September at Carole’s house . We will be making bunting for this year’s campaign, ‘Bystanders can be Lifesavers’. New members are always welcome, but please email for the location and to say that you will be attending.

Our September meeting on Monday 8th September takes the form of a craft evening, so feel free to bring an apron or wear appropriate clothing!
There will also be a quiz table for those who prefer not to take part in this activity (but we hope that you all will!)
Following on from our July meeting we will have a collection box for South Central Ambulance Service (who train and provide First Responders) at the September meeting
Don’t forget to bring your photos for the ‘Competition of the Month’ . Also bring silver coins to vote for your favourite photo! The money raised goes to ACWW https://acww.org.uk/
There will be a raffle and refreshments.
Please also bring any remaining New Forest Show entries to Monday’s meeting (or your score and comment cards) so we can make a lovely display of our members work for all to see.
We have decided to carry over the Growing Competition to our October meeting to give you further time to nurture your luffa plants! So don’t abandon them yet!
