This year, 22 members of Brockenhurst WI entered 45 items into 11 various classes into the WI tent at the New Forest and Hampshire County Show.

Overall, we gained 654 points and this equates to:

• 1 Green Star
• 3 Blue Stars
• 5 Red Stars
• 8 Silver Stars
• 16 Double Silver Stars
• 2 Gold Stars

In addition, we also achieved:

A First Place awarded to Liz for her Lavender biscuits

Third place was awarded to Karen for her Lavender biscuits.

First place awarded to Julie for her Wildflower decorated cupcakes.

Second place awarded to Maureen for her hand tied posy flower arrangement

Second place to Janette, Christine and Karen for the Produce Cooperative

Special congratulations go to Janette who achieved “Best in Show’ for her pasties in the Produce Cooperative.

Congratulations to each and everyone of you who entered.

Although this was in the Flower Tent and not in the WI tent, our member Karen was part of the team who achieved first place for this great entry:
