At our monthly meeting we had a demonstration of of how assemble a hand tied bouquet by our member Karen and also by Sue Rickman, the Chair of Brockenhurst Flower Club. Sue and Karen both showed us beautiful bouquets that they had made. The talk and demonstartion was informative and inspiring.
Rose introduced the WI Campaign for 2025-2026 which is ‘Bystanders can be Lifesavers’ and something we look forward to taking further over the next year.
Rose introduced a First Responder (and also one of our WI members) who kindly agreed to give a demonstration of CPR and how to use a defibrillator. You can read more about the meeting here.



Lunch Club was at The Huntsman, who looked after us very well. The menu was interesting and offered a vast variety of dishes, enjoyed by us all.

Our Bandage makers have continued to make much needed bandages for Ukraine on Wednesday morning’s. They were interviewed by a TV station along with bandage makers from Milford-on-Sea.
Our Darts team have continued to practice on Thursday mornings.

Elaine kindly delivered all the donations collected to Honeypot to be given to young carers when they have a break this summer.

July ended with the New Forest Show where 22 members entered 40 “wonderfully wild’ items. A seperate web post will be written abut this when we have all the results.

We look forward to August and our annual outing.
