March Activities

Welcome to Brockenhurst WI’s March activities.

We have our Monthly Meeting with speaker Bridget Eastman on Monday March 10th 2025. The talk is “Becoming an artist in later life and it is in the Exhibition Room at Brockenhurst Village Hall. Arrival from 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

The Competition of the Month is a photo of Wild Weather, so bring any photos along that you have. Members vote for their favourite with a silver coin of any denomination and the winner is the photo with the most coins. Donations go to ACWW.

There will also be a raffle, refreshments and a host of sign up sheets -so bring your diaries. We are hoping that seeds will be available for this year’s growing competition too.

Your Role in Brockenhurst WI

We are very proud of all our members and know that many of you do lots to help the committee and the smooth running of Brockenhurst WI, for which we are very grateful.

We have our annual meeting coming up in May and this is when we vote in our committee.

You may have seen an article called ‘Advisers’ News’ in “Hampshire WI News” where Cathy Winter, the Chair of Advisors, wrote an article about what members to do to help the smooth running of Brockenhurst WI.

In order to run smoothly, we require a good team on the committee and we ask you to consider if you would you like to join the committee?

Have you got time to attend a monthly committee meeting and help the committee organise the monthly meetings and activities that we run?

Our committee members often say that this is the best way of getting to know our members and like the camaraderie and friendship of being on the committee.

If you would like further information or put yourself forward, please contact Liz, or speak to any members of the committee. Thank you.
