The Craft Group have had sessions entitled “Fun with Paints” and “Fun with Papier Mache’. Ladies met at Carole’s and did have fun! The painting was bright and colourful.

For the papier mache, we tore up newspaper and glued strips onto inflated balloons, adding pieces of egg box. We will need to add more layers at another meeting, perhaps adjusting the shape, and then paint them.

Kim has continued to Quilting sessions to a group of ladies, teaching ‘Air Castle’ and ‘Ribbon Star’ blocks. As well as learning new skills, the group support each other and enjoy the delicious cake made by Kim with a cuppa too.

Britta continues to teach a group of ladies how to crochet.
Rita and team have continued to make bandages for Ukraine.

Janette and the darts team have continued to practice each Thursday morning at the Foresters Arms. They are training hard for their forthcoming match against Barton Bees.

The Lunch Club went to The Haven and enjoyed their food and having a chat.

We ended the month with a team from Brockenhurst WI attending the Brockenhurst Group Skittles evening, organised by Barton Bees. You can read about it here.
