As we have a few activities early in the month, the activities update will be in two parts. Here is part one:
We start the month with World Textile Day on Saturday 2nd November at Brockenhurst Village hall from 10 am until 4pm. Entrance is free, but there is a charge for talks. Brockenhurst WI will be serving refreshments.

Then on Sunday 3rd November we are holding a joint walk with Greener Brockenhurst to ‘March for Clean Water’’. It will start at 2pm at the Watersplash at the bottom of Brookley Road. This is a short family-friendly walk for all, so please bring your family and friends to show our support for the march taking place in London on the same day and for our clean rivers campaign. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

Then on Tuesday 5th November, Karen will be running a lantern workshop at Julie’s house, starting at 2pm. There are a couple of spaces so please contact us for more details or if you would like to attend.
On Wednesday 6th November, Bandage making for Ukraine will be held at Jan V’s house from 10-12. Please contact us for more details or for the location.

On Thursday 7th November, Darts practice will take place at 11am at Foresters Arms, Brookley Road, Brockenhurst. All welcome to join in. Please contact us for more details.
On Thursday evening, Brockenhurst Group Social Event will be hosted by Sway WI. There will be a screening the film “Calendar Girls” in Sway Village Hall starting at 6.45 and the film starting at 7.15. Tickets cost £10 each. Refreshments available during the intermission. Anyone attending is encouraged to dress in “twin set and pearls” or fuddy-duddy tweeds! Contact us for more information.
On Friday 8th November 2024 the Craft Group session will take place from2-4pm. Please contact us for more details and location.
On Monday November 11th 2024 is our Monthly Meeting with speaker Alistair Brien . The subject is “What they don’t tell you about being a head!”. At Brockenhurst Village Hall – arrival from 7pm for a 7.30pm start. More details of the evening will follow.
