We undertook another evening walk to make the most of the light evenings and to give those who work the opportunity to join the walk. We set off from Beechern Wood car park on a wil evening and set off over Whitemoor. We headed towards Puttles Bridge and walked parallel with Ober Water. We continued to follow Ober Water. right along to Aldridge Hill. We returned via the campsite road and enjoyed the exercise.

Twelve ladies enjoyed a lunch at Esme’s tearooms at the Thatched Cottage in Brockenhurst. There was a good choice of soup, sandwiches, quiches and salads, and we all felt it was very good value for money. The setting is very attractive, all having been recently refurbished and changed around. We were too full to sample the delicious looking selection of cakes on display, and it looks a good choice for an afternoon tea. As usual, this was a very sociable occasion, giving us a chance to have a good chat.

Rita and her team have continued to make bandages for Ukraine. They are delighted with the new supply of sheets, but would welcome more helpers! If you can help, please contact us for more information or for the location.
