October Walk

It was cold and dull when we gathered at Beechern Wood car park for our October walk, but as we walked across Whitemoor the sun came out!

We even had reflections!

We hoped to see some fungi and we were in luck and saw this FlyAgaric.

We enjoyed seeing some ponies.

As we walked through the woods, autumn was in evidence.

We also saw a Beefsteak fungi.

We walked up though the woods to Aldridge Hill and looked at this plaque.

We had hoped to see pigs, as they had been seen in this areas, but alas not today.

But we did see this lovely refection.

We headed back we spotted lots of holly berries, more fungi and birds.

We all enjoyed the walk in this beautiful area. having a chat and being out in the October sunshine.
