After a busy July, Brockenhurst WI have a quieter August.

We don’t have a Meeting in August, but we have a great speaker lined up for September (see below).

Rita is continuing to hold bandage making sessions for Ukraine on Wednesday mornings from 10am-12 noon (except from Wednesday 16th August).

Darts Practice sessions will continue on Thursday mornings at 11am at the Foresters Arms, Brookley Road, Brockenhurst. All welcome to join in. 

Our annual summer outing takes place on Tuesday 15th August and all those who have signed up should now have received an email from Elaine with details of this.

The newly formed Brockenhurst Community Speedwatch scheme is preparing to “go live” at the end of this Summer, 2023. If you would like to be involved then please get in touch. We are looking for volunteers for a few hours a month, monitoring traffic in and around Brockenhurst. Contact them here.

Monday 11th September 2023 Monthly Meeting with speaker Helen McGinn – Author, wine expert and TV Presenter : “My Life in Wine” – Helen shares her story from her years as a supermarket wine buyer to her role as TV wine presenter and now best-selling fiction writer. Brockenhurst Village Hall -arrival from 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Wednesday 4th October Brockenhurst Group Social 6.45 for a 7pm start. ‘Evening of Chocolate’ at Brockenhurst Village Hall. Organised by Brockenhurst WI. Tickets £10 (limited spaces available). Get your ticket now by paying your £10 by BACS (online or telephone banking) to the WI bank account.
