July Walk 2023

Our July walk didn’t feel very summery today as three brave women and a dog set off from Beechern Wood car park on a very wet afternoon!

We walked across a soggy Whitemoor.

As we approached Puttles Bridge, a family of Stonechats were calling and we stopped to have a look at these.

We paused at the bridge so Libby could have a paddle and a drink in Ober Water.

We walked parallel to the river.

As we walked through the woods we commented on how lovely the moss looked on the trees and how lovely the leaves and fern look when they are wet.

It was a very soggy, but enjoyable walk. We enjoyed the company and having a chat as we walked.

We headed back to the car park and headed home to dry off and have a cuppa!

Thanks go to the brave ladies who joined the walk.
