Brockenhurst WI has had another busy month with lots of activities for all:
Our monthly meeting was an interesting and busy one! You can read about it here.

Lunch Club
This months Lunch club was at The Turfcutters, East Boldre. We were sat outside which was pleasant but there a bit a chill when a breeze passed through.
We were once again delighted to be joined by Pam’s daughter Jude (who is the National President of New Zealand Federation of Women’s Institutes), which was very nice.
There was plenty of chat and laughs and everyone seemed to enjoy their food.

Our Craft Group have been busy and you can read about their activities here.

Rita and her team have continued to make bandages for Ukraine. Rita is always looking for volunteers at the sessions on Wednesday mornings from 10-12 (or to do tasks in their own homes).

Our Quiz Teams took part in the Group Quiz and you can read about it here.

We held a walk and tea in aid of ACWW. You can read about this here.

Our Darts Team have been practicing hard on Thursdays at The Foresters ahead of the next round of the Darts tournament. This takes place on Thursday’s 6th July. Good luck team!

We heard that the Clean Rivers for People and Wildlife resolution passed at the 2023 NFWI Annual Meeting.
We also heard that Brockenhurst has received Plastic Free status! You can read about this here.

We look forward to July!
