To mark His Majesty The King’s Coronation thousands of organisations across the country are getting together to give us all the chance to help out in our own local communities.

Rita is looking for volunteers to help with Bandage Making for Ukraine and is offering a volunteering opportunity between 10am and 12 noon on Monday 8th May. Please contact us for the location.

Brockenhurst WI have been making bandages that are much needed in Ukraine since last summer and we continue to make bandages that are shipped to Ukraine. Please support this worthy cause if you can by helping us for an hour or so.

The Big Help Out aims to be the biggest celebration of volunteering in the UK, encouraging people to try volunteering for themselves, bring communities together and create a lasting legacy from the Coronation weekend.

Also, the Brockenhurst Charity Shop will be open on Monday May 8th from 10am – 4pm and are offering one-hour taster sessions  in the community Charity Shop. Come along and meet the volunteers (several are WI members) and see their excellent work generating funds for Brockenhurst Community Facilities.
