This week’s bandage makers were Christine, Moira, Rita, Barbara, Julie & Janette.

Approximately 80 triangular bandages were made today. These go into trauma packs (two in each trauma pack) and over 1500 packs have now been sent to Ukraine. Avery from New Forest for Ukraine is very grateful for our help in achieving this.

Other rolled bandages were also made at home. Thank you all for doing your homework.

Help is still required to make bandages, either at our next sessions (dates below) or there are jobs that can be done in your own homes. We especially require volunteers with a sewing machine to to sew strip of material together. But we also require help in ripping strips pf materials. Please do contact us or comment below if this is something that you can help with. Thank you.

The next sessions of bandage making will be at Rita’s house on Wednesday 24th August from 10am.
Then the following week (31st August) the session will be held at Julie’s house from 10am. All welcome. No sewing experience is required as we have lots of different jobs – ironing, cutting, ripping, sewing or rolling. It all makes a big difference.
Thank you.
